Introduction to our construction technologies
A4CSEL (Quad Accel), an abbreviation for Automated / Autonomous / Advanced / Accelerated Construction system for Safety, Efficiency, and Liability, is a construction system in which multiple driver-less construction machines being operated from a control room can conduct work automatically and autonomously. This system provides a solution to problems such as the lack of experienced workers, an aging labor population, and the overall general decrease in construction workers while also dramatically improving productivity and safety.
Characteristic1Improvement in Work Production
Operation of multiple construction machines with a minimum number of operators required
Because the construction machines are operated autonomously and automatically according to work instructions from a computer, it is possible to operate a large number of construction machines with a small number of operators. In addition, high construction quality is ensured thanks to the collection and analysis of operation data taken from many skilled operators that is incorporated into the control method. This dramatically increases construction productivity.
Characteristic2Improvement of Construction Site Safety
Significant decrease of the risk of workplace accidents in all work environments
A4CSEL technology machines measure surrounding conditions in real time, recognize the presence of people and obstacles, and assess the safety of its path. Based on this, it is equipped with an automatic stop / restart function to conduct autonomous driving that ensures safety.
Using unmanned construction machinery not only reduces the risk of accident and disasters, but also makes construction possible even in the harshest of environments.
Characteristic3High Versatility
Equipping general-purpose heavy duty construction machinery with automated functions
One of the biggest features of A4CSEL is that it does not use specific automated use-only machinery, but rather equips general-purpose construction machinery with automated functions. Due to the equipment of measuring instruments and tools such as GPS, gyroscopes, laser scanners, etc. as well as that of an operations computer, the machines can be maneuvered automatically.
The use of 20 to 30 automated heavy duty machines will be implemented in the Naruse Dam dam body construction work.
We are planning to use the machinery for the construction of the trapezoidal CSG dam body.
